REVIEW: New World Rising by Jennifer Wilson

I loved everything about this book, it's been a while since I was this invested in a story. I have a love for dystopian novels and I'm so glad I came across this one!

There was no slowing down with New World Rising, I was instantly thrown in the adventure and the thrill of the plot, there wasn't a second where I was bored, it was a fast paced exhilarating experience which kept me intrigued and wanting more from page one.
The world building was done exceptionally, I was able to picture it really well, feeling as if I was there, it totally sucked me in.

The main characters were very likeable and I was able to connect and relate to them. Phoenix was a strong protagonist who was focused on survival in this post apocalyptic world, she handled things well especially when she suddenly had two new people in her life she cared about & she constantly put them ahead of herself. 
I really enjoyed following Phoenix throughout the story and I'm really excited to see how things turn out in the next two books which I need to get my hands on immediately, I'm hooked!

The friendship and romance was perfect, it wasn't Insta love, it was slow burning and everything I wanted. I won't say who he is because I went into the book not knowing and that just added to the fun and surprise of it.

I'm overjoyed to finally have a new series I absolutely love, this was a phenomenal read!
